I did not expect to have the stars align for me to be ready to crowdfund print runs for Equinox so quickly, but here we are! I've finished the art layout barring final tweaks for print, and with Zine Month 2022 well underway, I figured it's best to strike while the iron is hot. As such, my Kickstarter pre-launch page is now live! The campaign is projected to run from February 22-March 11, and I have several bonuses available for those of you who generously supported Equinox while I was still figuring out layouts and book design.

The first bonus, even if you choose not to contribute to the Kickstarter campaign, is of course the updated digital files in addition to all the older versions, free of charge to all existing backers here on itch once the campaign is through. Honestly, this final 60-page pdf layout is so incredibly pretty, focusing on Art Nouveau with as much diverse representation as possible, which was not the easiest to track down! But as a person of color it was important to me to show that people like me have always been around, even in fairy tale settings depicted over a hundred years ago. Sneak peeks of art and layout are included above!

The second bonus, if you do choose to buy a physical copy of Equinox, is a free upgrade to a signed and numbered edition of either the paperback or hardcover (or both: if you buy them, I'll sign and number them!) I'm incredibly grateful for all your support for my first big RPG project. Once the crowdfunding campaign is over, please email me from the address you used to originally back Equinox here on itch. I'll crosscheck it against my records and make sure you get your free upgrade.

The campaign also has a special $15 add-on for physical tiers: the opportunity to snag one of 60 carefully curated Tarot decks that I'll choose at random to send to purchasers. I picked smaller decks that travel easily while still fitting solidly in the hand; most importantly, the decks' art styles all suit the themes of the game. This price, as with the rest of the tiers, does not include shipping and taxes/fees/duties, so please keep that in mind when considering your options.
